[size=large]Finally got some much needed rain after a near historical drought. Was able to take the shovel and actually dig a hole easily. I had been using the ax. Got 3 nice whole Spencers. [/size]

[size=large]A crusty convexed flat button that has something on it. I'll have to scrape it off with a toothpick. Found almost 3 foot section of this linked chain. I didn't think it was period until I ran across a photo of an 1853 Infield with a nipple protector secured by this chain.[/size]
