[size=large]No, unfortunately I didn't find this; the lady who owns all the land stopped by and was telling me about a brass sword handle her husband dug up in the '70's while plowing the field with a tractor. The blade had rusted away in the ground; the lady sent pictures of it to an archaeologist who identified it as a French sword and since they supplied the Confederates with equipment, it is more likely a Confederate used sword. She also showed me several other boxes full of relics that relic hunters had given her over the years for detecting on her property. Lots of bullets, eagle buttons, equipment hooks, and even a breast plate... this must have been one smokin' place years ago.[/size]
