:csflag: Dig'um ups from this afternoon...

The relics were calling my name today. My choices for the afternoon was; cut the grass and wash the truck, or go detecting... hmmm.

Got five Civil War bullets, 58 cal mini balls , the deepest was 10", the shallowest was about 6".

This one's just for you Bobbie, the curious cows came to bug me. It was already too hot, I drank the diet Mountain Dew I had with me and was still dying of thrist, and now I have to put up with a bunch of slobbering cows.

Nice, lush, green pasture grass with Civil War relics hiding beneath it.

Got this belt rivet with a good bit of leather still attached.

Digs for today; the big square thing I believe is an old brass or copper compact; I found it near a post-war house site, so I don't think its Civil War related. Two small percussion caps and other whatnots. The star was a heart thumper, but I believe its aluminum and not Civil War related either. Bummer.
