Mountain Man, my daughter, Leanna, and I went out for a 2 hour hunt last night. First we stopped at the guy's house. I had already put a riker presentation box together with some relics for the land owner; Greg and I put another box together for his sister; then the guy wanted to know if he could pay us to do three more riker boxes for each of his daughters. We told him there would be no charge, and that we would gladly make one each for his daughters. We stopped there and I gave him a box (I should have taken a picture of it); it had a whole Spencer, 6 other assorted other Civil War bullets, an eagle button I had found there the other day, 1864 Indian head penny, flat buttons, civilian flower button, and a couple other things. Mountain Man has generously donated quite a few relics to finish the other 2 riker boxes. The above picture is Mountain Man; he is one of the most contented relic hunters I've seen, you can tell he really enjoys it, and a great guy. He was the first guy to take me to some good spots when I first moved here nearly 5 years ago... He's still stuck with me.

This is my daughter Leanna (15), detecting at what Mountain Man calls "Spencerville".... I call it "Chiggerville" She is a really good detectorist.

'Tis I. Well, the old hill top is starting to get played out; we ended up with nine bullets, couple brass rivets, percussion cap. A good soaking rain will produce a few more good targets that are undetectable at this time because of ground conditions. There are other fields waiting to be harvested (of relics), but they need to be cut first as the vegetation is nearly waist high. They will be cut this fall, and we can't wait.
