[size=large]Got out to a sports field, with the silver , set in all metal , 1 gain and would switch to disc which i had set to F in foil found a spot where the Gals do the hair, and it had a lot of bobby pins and i swept it in all metal and got lots of beeps, and switched to disc and all was silent , so i just dug them out and to my surprise out came a crusty nickel that had been their , I suppose masked by the pins . The bobby pin count was 20 was using the 8x11 DD[/size]
 
Your learning the Tesoro language without even knowing it. You made the decision to dig knowing there was trash below but, something was a miss and your brain said "coin" in cryptic terms.

Just goes to show you that you never know what is there untill you dig. I would have probably walked from that area. Nice finds for a trashy area. HH.

yep the old hair pin in the hole trick :sleepy: found a gold ring in the hole with the hair pin all the disc vlf guys missed was using a PI at the time, keep digging we get rewarded :clapping:
