Headed out on a Caribbean cruise this week and taking my AT Pro along, have permission from MSC. Will be searching beaches in Jamaica Cozumel Caymans and Bahamas. Does any have experience in those areas or advice? Thanks, Dave

You might want to check out the laws in the Bahamas. In 2006 it was OK, but the laws may have changed. You will be at tourist type beaches...should be OK, but as always, check first. Jamaica and Cozumel were also OK, The Caymans...are under British law and therefore the beaches and land under the water "the Queens's Bottom", so I've been told, are not detectable...even for current coins. Again ask before detecting. It was the same in Bermuda, but I was told that after the lifeguards left...there would be no problem. And there was none, except for the high surf.
