Crosshairs change location slowly.

I wanted to ask why the crosshairs move so slowly from one signal to the other sometimes. Usually I have to set the coil down on the ground away from the target, wait about five seconds, then go back across the target to get the crosshairs to show what it is correctly. Is it because of a slow processor or is there a setting to tweak to get it to respond quicker?

the explorer needs to return to threshold before the last target detected will ID, if your ihunting with lots disced out or iron in the area you wont reurn to threshold till you stop swinging or get it away from those targets..the easiest way is to lift the coil off the target about six inches after hearing it to get the quickest crosshair reading
