Crosshair position when changing coils

Just as an example, when sweeping a silver dime, will the crosshairs be at the same spot with the 8 inch coil and stock coil or will it vary from coil to coil? I was going to use a Palm pilot writeRight over the screen and mark where some good targets read, and wasn't sure if I could use the same one for both coils. Denis,
I see no difference in the crosshairs when i switch coils from the origianl to the Sunray 8 inch or the WOT 15 inch coil. I have been usiong my same disc patterns too when I use them.
