Crossfire coil help

I have an 8 " crossfire coil (I not the II) that needs the 5 pin plug replaced. Does anyone know the P/N of the plug? DigiKey would probably have it.. but they don't have pics of all their plugs so I don't know which plug to order. I have a Freedom 2 Plus and a first Gen grand master and another good coil so I can detect.. just like to fix the coil
Plug I also have a Fisher 1266X for my relic hunting and a Minelab 2200D... TIA

Have you tried Garretts? Just recently had freedom 2 plus repaired and spruced up by them, did a great job and great people .give m a try they might have one.

I haven't tried Garrett yet. I went and visited a friend today. He had a female plug of the same pin config. He is going to check some of his catalogs @ his job next week and should be able to find the p/n for me... After I left his house I went to a spot that I use to relic hunt several years ago and spent a couple hours there and found 2 -58 cal bullets, 2- 45 cal and a 1- 36 cal bullet. I also found a 1961-d Roosevelt dime, the first silver that I have found there. I was super excited you I saw that silver in the dirt I just knew that I had an Civil War era dime and just for a brief moment moment I felt a little disappointment when I saw it wasn't. That first silver that I've found in years. This is the first MD that I've done in years.. BTW... I didn't use either Garrett... I used my Fisher 1266X.. which is what I used when I hunt for relics... sweet machine..

I talked to Brad @ Garrett last week and ordered the plug for my crossfire coil. he sent the print on the pinout. The wires in the pinout did not match the wires in the cable to my coil... I dissected my defective plug and got the pinout and soldered the new connector.. coil is now good to go.. FYI......the correct pinout is pin 1= shield wire... pin 2=. black wire... pin 3 = red wire... pin 4= white wire... pin 5= green wire....

Very knowlegable friendy reps to talk to and if they can't answer your questions will connect you with a Tech. I would think one wrong plug or one improper wire connection might cause damage to your unit..causing expensive repair costs...

I've got the coil fixed..I got the correct pin out from my old plug.. Brad, Garrett's Tech, sent the wrong diagram with the plug I ordered.
If it quits raining and dries out some I can do some MD'g

Good work on getting your coil back in use again !

The newer Proformance coils for the Master Hunter CX series will also work on your machine. I went through that about a year ago and I used the 7X10 concentric. Also got the big 14 DD but it was way to heavy for me.
