I found a Southern Cross of Honor in my friends yard along with some wheaties. It's a little hard to read but in good shape. Looks just like the second one here. Pretty neat find.

The bar wasn't on it and I didn't have any idea what it was when I found it. Now I am wondering if I go back to the same location maybe I could find the name bar. Worth a try I guess.

From reading the info link you supplied it looks like each one was numbered (at least from 1900-1913)if you can find the number on yours you may be able to find out to whom it was awarded by contacting the UDC. The opposite side of your cross should look like the top picture and from looking I would assume that is the side that is numbered.
