Cross hair movement..

I usually hunt in digital and sometimes double check with the cross hair so not really efficient with the crosshair screen..Have any of you cross hair enthuiasts notice how the cross hair will move around relative various coins. We all know a silver coin will usually register high in the right hand corner and higher going from dime to quarter etc. I am interested in movement whether horizontal or vertical to help on those that don't lock dead in an area due to various reasons.

Dan, there is a couple of things to consider. One is my guess is the digital readings are an average of the hits. The problem is as we sweep the coil we don't hit the target the same so the numbers would jump pretty bad. I believe they represent the best average of hits. I have found a lot of mini balls that will have a 13/22 hit but mixed in will be something like 8/22 which is the reading for a mini ball in an air test. I think that is also true of the crosshairs or we would see it jump around pretty bad in a general area and even take some leaps like they do for some Indian Heads from upper left to upper right. I believe that both are very accurate with that in mind but the problem is we cannot tell some trash from goodies. It is not that they are not accurate but rather that they cannot tell a tab from a ring 100% of the time as an example.
