Cross another goal off my list

Found a quite beautiful 1942 Mercury dime this afternoon. It was about 3 or 4 inches down in a neighbors yard, about a foot from his front sidewalk. I did the happy dance cause it's the first Merc that I've found with the detector. I'll get pics onthe way tomorrow when I have good light for them. Also two wheat pennys, 1955 and 1958. None of the three are worn much at all. I'll get the rest of the interesting finds in the pics tomorrow. Excuse me.....I feel another happy dance coming on..

Congrats. The great thing about this hobby is there are always new goals. First Merc ins a good one. You'll find plenty more, I'm sure. I've been wishing to find a second silver half dollar for about three years now. I'd even take a clad one right about now.
