My neighbor has asked me if I had seen all the wildlife in our back yard so far this fall. I told them I hadn't until this morning. A very large female turkey is struting her stuff around the back yard next to the park next door. I understand there are deer that come around also. We had lots of squirrels and birds of every variety you can imagine. Here's a picture of a lady turkey.

a Tom to me. Notice the long beard in the front. I love seeing the wildlife God put here for us to enjoy.

She or he must have escaped being the roasted turkey for Thanksgiving Dinner! I like watching God's creatures, too; and that is one reason what I've always loved the outdoors; especially when I was younger! Ma

Must be a young 'Tom' then because it doesn't have the 'Red' beard hanging from the chin. That's why I thought it was a hen. My mistake.
