I ordered my 10 x 12 SEF , so now I wiill be able to do the EXACT experiments you have wanted me to do ..... I'm in hopes I can recreate last weekends scenario .......I'm gong back this weekend .......I hope my coil gets here by then ....Jim

Between You, Plugger, Crazyman, and me Critter sold four coils. There should be a commission. I think the S-12 is going to be hard to beat. I'll sell the loser. I am looking at more than depth. Use around EMI, over all stability, pinpointing. How it throws the numbers up on my meter. Trashy hunting. I want to pick my favorite coil.

Critter's reports on the 10X12 had me fired up to get one but then Plugger beat me to it and I held off waiting to see how it does on our west coast beaches. Now Jim has one coming also. My luck, they will be on back order for months now. You could always sell me yours if I can't find one!

The Soveriegn and Explorer users seem to have the best results with the SEF 10X12. The SEF I had on my Safari would'nt PP except on the outside ring about the 5 o'clock position although it would find targets and could wiggle the coil to find them I just was'nt satisfied with it. I really like the pro-coil and the X-12 on my machine down here in TN. Seems like Minelab would make a pro-coil for those Soveriegns. They are light and go deep. Maybe you Soveriegn users could ask ML why that coil is not available. There is probably more Soveriegns out there than any single machine they sell. HH

Sold my Sovereign , and just got a brand new 10 x 12 SEF thru the mail ....Never mounted or taken out of the box if anyone here is interested in buying it ........Thanks, Jim

It's brand new and never removed from the box ...I'd like to get $170 and I'll eat the shipping ....Same deal as Kellyco , except I have to pay the shipping ....As I said , it was NEVER even removed from the box that it came in .... Sooner or later K Co will run out of these coils and someone will want it ...... From Critters reports , it's a great coil or I would have never bought it ..... Jim

I'm going to move on to a dedicated water machine ...... and I'm keeping my E Trac for my land machine , otherwise I would be keeping the Soveriegn .....Jim
