 Well chalk 2 more up to the Stingray 2!

Went back to the brackish water spot I hunted last sunday. Pulled these two and some coins a alot of dang tabs and junk!!! The middle school??? class ring is made of crapidium, and the gold ring is 14K @ 3.6g w/ dia chips.(cool!)
I had tuned my sens down just a hair and the threshold down a hair. Unit is VERY stable now, still would not GB though. I was getting good depth prob 6-9+ inches. This waterhunting is really fun not to mention cooler than hunting the dirt and sweating my head off. Can't wait to go again. Go Tesoro Stingray 2!! :goodnight:

Go Jump in a Lake!!!

ps. I'm using the $$ from the other ring to get a 10.5 coil and rod setup!!! ;~)

Just wait til you come up here, you might change your tune about the "water being cooler" to hunt in. Hee hee.

Thanks! Hey I've got a 6.5 mil wetsuit, boots and gloves!!! Hopefully I'll be ok!

You're wearing that place out with the Stinger:). What is crapidium? I found the ring in the photo several years ago at an old football field that was used from about 1915 until 1958. It was 6 inches or so deep and even though it's big it ID's in the foil range. Was told it's cheap a generic class ring from the depression era, that a lot of them were bought by people who couldn't afford a gold ring. Your photo is too blurry to really tell but the class ring you found looks similar to the one I found.

I found it ironic, only in alabama would they have a middle school class ring, lol.

You'll like it!

But you will need more for Spring and Fall hunting. I can show you how to break through the ice safely to get good beach sites in the fall.

That would be "Cool" Dang, it's hot down here! Looking forward to a new world of detecting.
