Of our 7 friends with indoor rings, 6 of them are on the ground. Snow took them out....big snow load then rain and down them came. We helped a smany as we could get snow off, but could not get to all of them. We had to go up on our house roof and get it off...Just to much. All kinds of warehouse type buildings going down. Most build for 40 lbs sq foot here and it was over there up this way. 3 of the barns were built in the last 4 years....Some steel truss, some wooden. Didn't seem to make any difference. All kinds of firehouse buildings, etc came down all over the state. My son has been out for the last week, working all daylight hours shoveling or snow blowing roofs off. Its nothing but ice around here now and 3 foot of ground cover, more in the woods. The winter from hell....
That last one kind of shut my plowing down here. it all went to ice over night after a hard wind and rain storm.... Spring can't come fast enough this year and it will be a wet one.....I bet most cellars in this area will be flooded....

What with the river... Hope that we have a slow melt. If we get a warm one, there will be all manner of flooding.

Fair winds

It is very difficult for me to visualize what you are experiencing because I have never lived through something like that. This has been a strange winter and I pray better weather soon arrives for all my northern friends. Kelley (Texas) :)
