In Connecticut I am usually looking at snow and freezing cold temperatures at the end of January. However today it was 53 degrees. Not too shabby for January 21  What a Spring like day for hunting!! Yaaaa! "Dusted off" the AT Pro and went to an old 1800's abandoned park. Both myself and the AT Pro got worked like a mule. It was so nice to be out of the house. The icing on the cake was making a few nice finds. Hope others in the region took the liberty to get out and do some dirt fishing.

Settings: Pro mode, Zero disc, 6 bars of sensitivity, GB'd at 94.

I truly wish my soil was much more gentle on copper though. The copper in the photo is an 1906 IH cent.

Good shootin! Glad you are able to get some swinging in. Year, kind of a strange winter. 72 down our way today. Nice finds! HH jim tn

Hey Jim! How you doing? What is a normal reading (temp wise) for you this time of year? I am not complaining by any means :detecting:

Glad ya got out and took advantage of the nice temps we had yesterday. I did also. Nice finds pal! Might hit 50's again today. Good day for another short hunt b4 football starts. HH

yes you can't beat pro mode , looks like you found a old shaver . WOW " nice to see silver in the dirt like that

Shave and a haircut 2 bits , as the old saying goes. .. it's fun getting out this time of year, makes winter go faster.. i got out beach hunting yesterday and got 2 tiny gold stud earings. . Congrats on some cool finds..

About upper 30's for lows and mid 50's for highs. Although we get it on occasion, it's rare to have frozen ground. We get a fair amount of rain in the winter months and go days without seeing the sun. The summer months are the toughest hunting months for us around here. Always hot and dry. Take care and take advantage of your weather. HH jim tn

Crazy nice weather that's all I have lol You have perfect hunting weather during the winter and I could certainly live with that.

Yes it does. Nothing is more depressing than watching snow fly from my window in January lol Good for you on hitting some gold! Nothing like a little gold glitter to brighten up the Winter. What detector are you sportin' these days?

H ave a fisher 1270 but haven't used it much at all. With stock coil only. It seems pretty responsive. Is it only good in sand? Duck.:surrender:

Nice finds the weather been good here in Ct I've been hunting up until this last storm!
