Crazy patch top table.

Here's a crazy patch tilt top table I just worked on.It's hundreds of small patch's on patch's,on patch's of Burl maple[?] veneer. Burl wood is very hard to work with and how this guy did this I'll never know.English tilt top tea table made around 1880's.I never seen one like this be for.Look how tight the joints are,the photo of it done just doesn't show how crazy this thing looks like[look like I messed up on the staining but it's just the way the light was hitting it].Enjoy
