Hi Everyone!

Man o man it didn't get any better last weekend unless you found a cache of silver! :D I just don't understand it  I mean Craig, Buddy, Lawrence and I have been hitting this one area we call the "gravel road woods" for the past two months and the place is still loaded with silva!:super: To date, I have dug four halves [(2) Franklin's (2) Walkers], three Standing Liberty quarters, six Washington quarters, almost 40 dimes (merc's and rosies), and over 150 wheats but yet the place is still producing!:jump:

On Saturday morning, I arrived at the gravel road woods by myself and parked the truck just to the left of the road.

Got all my gear together, walked across the road and began hunting the woods just before noon.

Here's my first two silver finds for the day. A merc and rosie! :yo:

Detected till dark and this is the total I found for Saturday not including the 32 wheats! :D

When Sunday rolled around, I started detecting and met up with Craig and Buddy already detecting the gravel road woods

As the day went on, I picked up a few wheats here and there then managed to find these 4 silvers right off the bat :clapping: The Franklin made my 4th half in this area.:surprised:

But that was just the beginning to my day! :yikes: I kept on digging more and more silva then finally ended up with all these for the weekend including 2 war nickels and the '32 buffalo!

Who says I was on fire? :hot: Somebody please put it out for me! :puke::lol:

Hey Craig! Would you believe I found 7 more silvas after you guys left me? :chase:

   :wave:Thanks for looking ya'll and HH.....James :wave::wave::wave:

It looks so far out in the woods. Or was this a tree plantation area?

there are dirt roads still existing just like the map indicates. We figured these old roads were once used by soldiers to get to their training locations located in the woods. Our hunch was right when we began finding tent stakes, spent bullet casings, hand granade fragments, eating utensils, the compass Craig found yesterday :please: wheat pennies, etc then eventually the silva!
