Covering ground with a Silver U Max..

New member
I knock and ask. This time I got permission to search a large private field that allows games, practice , etc for the local schools. The active area is about five acres..In addition, other events have taken place there for the last Century. Is, and has been off limits to detectors....you get ARRESTED....The deal is I turn everything in and the Caretaker/manager divides up,..Half for facility, half for my time.. You have to admit , Half is better than nutten honey....OK, what coil should I buy for the U Max ?...I need to cover the ground, starting this November..Also, have to pin down pin pointers. Actually, I have to stop this crap, I am getting more places than I'll have time to search. Maybe Jabbo, could take the train out and spend 24/7 hunting, then sleep on the way back. Dave, that's an idea,,I want to do some water hunting and have ex Navy for a safety man..Forgot to ask if he could swim....On the coil, if there is something worth while, keep an eye peeled for me if you are not interested in buying. Thanks for your time and help,, as usual, I expect, it will be first class... cordially NAD

Sites like that are usually full of trash and difficult to hunt.

In a very trashy area large coils are very difficult to use.

There will be areas with less trash and less good finds.

Most people will just use the disc and or notch and go

cherry picking.

But there is jewelry there. Gold rings and silver jewelry is

all that most people will ever find though. Everything els is

too difficult for most people to want to go through the trouble

of looking for.

But, if you look for gold rings and nickles, it will increase

your trash dramatically.

If you go after smaller gold jewelry, it will boggle you're mind

until you can learn to accept it.

Good luck in you're partnership with you're overlord.lol

Happy Hunting,

Tabdog
