Nice folks I know let me hunt their property, foundations for former railroad bunkhouse, water station, and more. They have lived there about 20 years and I warned them might have already been hunted. Indeed where the foundations were there was no coins or even artifacts- I suspect heavily hunted. Up by the house though, where they had put on an addition found this large cent 1831 in fair shape and out front the 1883 IH penny, again in pretty good shape. Along with some clad got an 1912 and 1919 wheatbacks. We all had fun detecting together with my extra machine. As a memento I am giving them both coins back, the largie particularly dated the house fairly nicely. Always love the IHs. Just recently my md friend (TomO, see his post below) got a large cent and i realized hadnt got one in a few years. He is really reaping in all sorts of good finds lately. Good Hunts, CO
