I've been going back to that place I found the indians at yesterday and today..got one wheat yesterday, and a couple more today. Interesting find is the brass jewelers loupe that says "Made in Occupied Japan" on the back. Got a 46 nickle, one year off of silver, an old filligree ring, not stamped, looks like gold, not heavy enough to be of much value anyway...sounded like a nickle, but so does brass...hit it with the 10k acid, and it sort of bubbles, but not much..anyway, probably not. . I've been taking along 2 sets of gloves and keeping one pair under my shirt, then swapping them out when my hands get cold which is every 15 minutes or so. Found all three clad Q's in a foot radius, sounded like junk, but I was digging everything decent sounding, and even some soft whispers of deep lead. At Pro set half sens, iron audio on and 25 disc. wading in the water at public access areas. Theres some old stuff here, like those can tops that were opened with a punch out opener that leaves a triangle shaped opening. Hafta go dancing tonight, but tomorrow am, real early, its the sledding hills for me!
