Couple Of T2 Finds

Out near the RR sideing that runs off the cornfield again. Must have been a spot for passenger or freight pickup at one time. Things are getting interesting. Found a 1917 Cdn Large Penny. Then got a locked on 87 on the VDI meter. It was a 1906 Cdn silver quarter. I knicked it with my digger, as the digging is tough through the siding type gravel

Mike thats a start. am sure as you get to use it a little more it will really help, as you know. I've only had mine for about 3 weeks and believe it or not the more I learn about it the better it gets. the wife, two daughter in laws, 1 son and 4 grandkids have been hitting it pretty hard this last week. got quite a few hrs in detecting and made a few nice finds.... man you sure find some nice rings where your at. good luck

I finally fiqured out that my small signal falses are really the shoe tacks in Chinamen shoes. They don't repeat well cause those guys are walking around.

Nah...I bet it's running great in your ground.

Glad you are getting some time on it.

gold rings in the past year. Last year, she found that diamond anniversary ring that she sold and used the cash and treated me to the Great Southern Beach Shootout hunt. It paid for the entry fees. But you know, the funny thing is, most of the time, she runs that machine in factory preset with everything below nickel notched out. So three of the rings were surface finds when the detector gave the bell tone or large target tone. The anniversary ring was about 3 inches deep and didn't notice when we started out hunting the beach that she had everything below nickel notched out. So I notched everything in but iron on the CZ5, she started out and within 5 minutes of notching in everything, she hits that beaut of a ring.

She is quite deadly with that CZ5. I have hunted with numerous detectors and am finally coming to the realization, it aint the detector, it's the person using it. I think she would skunk me on rings even if she were using the cheapest Bounty Hunter from Wal-Mart. hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Mike, why does it always seem to work out that way. mine has the same kind of luck..I mean skill..... in case she reads this. I really am happy for them. nice to have them as a hunting pardner. sure have seen some of the nice rings she found. will be waiting for you to post yours. HAHAHAHA .........just kiddin.
