Couple of questions about the V3

Is the V3 able to be hip mounted like the DFX and XLT? Do the newer V3s have a problem with varied volume from left to right even with wired headphones? Considering getting one but want to give Whites time to get all the bugs worked out. Anyone setting theirs up as 3 or 4 tone ID? How do you like it? Thanks for any info., I appreciate it.

There is a balance control for the phones. I run a custom 5 tone ID and it works well for me. Rob

I rember reading somewhere that Jimmy Sierra has a hipmount V3 but I think this was specially made for him by Whites, he had no end of trouble with it though.

I'm pretty sure there is/was a conversion kit for the XLT/DFX. I don;t see why it wouldn't work for the V.
