Couple of goodies found with the Sovereign today...

I bought an 8" coil for my Sovereign a while back and just recently bought one of Ron's meters and set another rod up so all I have to do is switch out the control box.
I took this setup to a local park that is old and only encompasses one city block.
I have had some success here in past hunts, but things are slowing down now as they do with hard hunted sites.
I found two wheat pennies dated 1941 and 1946 and these two dimes.. 1915 and 1941.
The Barber was found in an area that has been difficult to search before due to the larger coil and the amount of trash, but I felt that there had to be some silver in there.
I proved it today with this find.
That little coil and Ron's meter performed well during this hunt and anyone looking for a meter should consider one of these.
This is only the second Barber coin that I have recovered from this location and ironically the other one was a quarter also dated 1915 in the same hole with a Buffalo nickel also dated 1915!!
What's the odds!!LOL
Thanks for looking,
Felix

Great finds! And the goodies just keep piling up!

Felix, nice finds.LOL the snow was so bad here didn't show up for my shift on the ski patrol. Thanks Ron

Beautiful coins.........:) You had a good day!!!

Love those Silver coins. I find very few of them so each one is very special. Congratulations on those excellent finds.

Nice silver! Small coils with a meter make trashy places fun for picking out good targets. I'm learning this on my GT too.

That little coil sniffed out some beauties! Congratulations! - Jim
