Couple of Firsts - Big Silver

Hi All,

The weather is not great this weekend, so I got out early to get in some MD'n in before the rain got here. Glad I did - found two firsts, a Walking Liberty half dollar and a Washington quarter! What a rush finding that half. It is pretty worn, but still a beautiful coin! Other than the two silvers I only found 3 wheat pennies - not complaining, that is just a low wheat/silver ratio compared to my normal 6/1 rate this year. I wouldn't be upset if this continued!

Big congrats on your first walker and washington! I have plenty of washingtons but that walker has avoided me and I hope to get one someday, but I am only a year into this great hobby.
