Couple of firsts and a funky ring with the E-Trac today...

Got my first Barber dime and first V nickel! Hard to see, but the date on the nickel is 1896. Love the nickel "grunt" on the E-Trac. Read a solid 12-13 at 7" down. I'm finding more nickels now than ever.
Also dug a huge ring, but I don't think it's silver - only a manufacturer's stamp on the inside. Great day!

Nice job...I am finding more nickels now too. Not always a perfect 12:13 though. I am certain I passed up a bunch of nickels in the past. I found a 1950 nickel yesterday using TTF.

Fantastic finds...I haven't found a V or shield nickel yet. Looking forward to that one!!
