Couple of finds with my new X--Terra 70

Well, I have only managed to get out to hunt with my new machine twice....The first time was last week at an old park near where I work, and that is where I found this buckle...also had found some more glass bottle toppers, and some clad...short hunt, only about a couple of hours....The next item is what I think is a hem weight, and I found that at a different park on Sunday...The park was packed with families (temp in the high 60's), so naturally, I had some curious kids following me and "lending a hand" for two hours of my hunt....The oldest was 13, and his brother and sister were about 5 or 6...everytime I would get a signal and put my machine down to dig, they would pick it up and try it out....I eventually gave each of them some clad that I had found, and that seemed to make them happy. They all got a chance to find something, and to dig as well...when I finally got to hunt on my own, the last 30 mins before the rain started, I found what appears to be a hem weight...gonna go back and hit the same park again today since I have the day off work and it is already in the 60's here....gotta get familiar with my new detector for the upcoming Bayou hunt! As always, thanks for stopping by and taking a look.

Looks like the right era..just the wrong items but the buckle might be a good one..must be some copper and silver around there somewhere

Interesting buckle, but it's hard to tell how old it is. Should be some good coins in those parks. Good luck, Ron

Very cool buckle!! I found one of those "hem weight" items. I thought it was a washer and chunked it? I hope I did not make a miststake, Beale.

This buckle had come out of a park I have detected only a few times....I did manage to pull out some wheats, and just yesterday I pulled out my first buffalo nickle, and a merc...always seems to be some older finds at this park...will post pics tomorrow.
