Went out despite my detector acting spastic it seems to only work in disc mode set on low on sensitivity and low on disc notch but here's my finds anyways, pics not good but enjoy,3 Wheaties 1957,1944,1951 the Rosie is a 1961 the buffalo is a 38 the complete watch has no marking only stainless steel the other one says tavannes watch co. the disc next to the quarter says on one 50 on top part half buck on the bottom part with a star in the middle on the reverse side it says Fifty on top Play coin on bottom with a wreath or something in the middle no date of any kind but almost wore completely off

Cool stuff. I am lucky to find anything other than pull tabs, nails and foil, let alone any silver or pre-1965 dimes or quarters.

Keep up the good work.

Mark

well Ive found a small pendant 2 64 quarters and the Rosie even found a Wheaties with a bullet hole in it that's my favorite but if i seem to have more luck when I'm running low on both and in disc mode and man is this Texas heat killing me i try going out at 630-700 a.m.

Way to go!! Awesome digs! I still haven't found a silver rosie, lots of mercs and a couple barbers....but no rosie...it vexes me! Where were you hunting, local park, private yard? Keep it up, love to see you finding some goodies...thanks for sharing your pics! HH!!

right out my backdoor there is a park next to a soccer field and adjacent to a little league baseball park and across the street from girls softball complex cant wait for fall this heat is a beating.

all 3 were in my front yard by the curb close to where i found the watch they were just barely under the surface not deep at all but they do have almost a red tint

Great Finds ! Congrats !! :detecting:
