Couple more rings with the CTX

Got two more rings with the CTX in the water today. First was a 1951 ladies class ring (6 grams 10k) that was two scoops down in thigh deep water. It read a clean repeatable 12-22 and I honestly expected a sinker but was pleasantly surprised. The second was a 3.8 gram 10k wedding band in chest deep water. Couldn't read the screen but the tone was like a flute being played. I'm running 23 manual, seawater on, 5 tones and ferrous coin with a totally open screen so this one must have been on the hairy edge of the tone break for how it was sounding. I didn't know what to expect when digging this one since with the double tones it almost sounded like a double beep.
Made for a good day for sure.

HH and GL all

Super finds, nagov!! Is there any form of identification in the class ring? I know the person that owned it is probably not even around anymore, but, wouldn't it be super cool to return something like that? I can just imagine the look on someone's face if something like that were to be returned!!

The bottom line is that you have a couple of great finds, congrats!!!

Kind of intended on making a return if possible but the school name (St. Paul) is a real common school name. It does have initials in it but again it is a ladies ring so you have the potential for marriage, divorce, name changes along with a common school name and one that may not even exist anymore, loads of Catholic schools closed their doors in the 70's-80's.

I haven't given up but it isn't an easy one for sure....it sure is a pretty ring though.
