Couple months with the sov

Coming up on the two month mark since I joined the minelab crowd. Nothing spectacular but considering how dead calm it has been on the beaches around here I am not going to complain. The pic is my non clad finds. Little gold little silver little custom junk and a whole lot of fun and bought myself some stone crab claws with the clad finds.

If you're doing the beach with the Sovereign and are using an 8" or 10" coil I highly recommend you get yourself a nice 12.5" coil, like the Sunray or an Excelerator...the better coverage and slightly better depth will add to your finds without adding much weight.

The weight with the sov has never been an issue for me even with the CB mounted on the stem so the larger coil is definitely on the Christmas list.

Explaining to the family exactly what a 12.5 inch excelerator coil is so they don't order the wrong thing.......that could be an issue:lol: Maybe kellyco has gift cards.
