couple hrs at the school

I like the older coins and have had a tuff go of it lately (1 merc in approx. 22 hrs hunting). Been knocking on doors lately and refused on 2 more doors today so off the the school yard. My second time here at the newer school (60's maybe?). Got these clads and memorials and cleaned em up. Was getting teased with some low 60's dates so there may be some silver there. Didin't even dent the place and got 30 coins, 1 half, 2 quarters, 12 dimes, and 15 copper memorials ($2.20). All the memorials were coppers. I'm REALLY trying guys to get some shiny silver but so far it ain't happening. Had a good time anyways and I'll get that silver one of these days.......

I wish I could find a merc in 22 hours of hunting. I sometime go for two or three months without finding any silver. The majority of my silver finds have been rings and pendants. Sounds like you are doing quite well for yourself. I have found so many 1965 coins that It gets frustrating when one comes out of the dirt. I been at this for a year and still looking for my firs half of any kind. So you are doing quite well.
