Couple hours this morning in a parking lot....

Hard rain last night...cool morning,no work till after lunch!...Put the 6" HH DD coil on to hunt a dirt/little grass parking lot next to a bar/restaurant........ This lot is trashed with bottle caps and more bottle caps. It's a slow hunt and can be very intimidating in AM.I run low sens at about 15... I am more interested in more recent drops from the constant night and day turnover. It can be really hard to lock in a target, but the 6'DD coil helps alot.Bottle caps and quarters can be figured out by the tone and TID # most of the time.
@ two hours got me the "Diesel" ring that I was sure was a faucet part till I felt the comfort fit, then had to put on the glasses to see what was written inside..STEEL.(Solid 12 TID)....DANG%#*?.....Copper "Danish Design" green stone bracelet,Aluminum religious medal,2 broke earrings, part of watch band,2.79 in clad and a 56 Roosevelt that i didn't notice till I got home!?....GL

I would say that Diesel ring was the best find of the day, they are not cheap rings Nice hunt, wtg

Well Shoot!!.....Thx Mark,I checked the bracelet when i got home this morning, thought it was the better find over a Steel ring! Bracelet is vintage new...$15/20.No thought or time to google "diesel" till i read your post...Saw it,same ring new,on eb for $69...Their other rings are really nice looking compared to this one...I think this ones the Plumber edition,It still looks to me like it should have threads,a screen, and screws into the kitchen sink faucet!!Only value for these Steel,Titanium,Tungsten rings is gift/sale to friends,or in resale on CL ..Maybe?...but not for that new /retail price, even with a diamond or 18k stripe....GL All
