Had a great afternoon with the DeLeon today, went to a local park that had a arts and crafts fair this weekend. I have hunted this park every year after the fair and had never found a ring today I got two. It had been raining off and on all day so I was not sure if I would get to do any detecting. After work I decided to give it a shot boy am I glad I did. Targets were plentiful lots of clad coins I hunted under a tree and found the first ring it was a nice little silver and black hills gold ring with a pink stone. It started raining a little and I figured hey if I have to quit one ring is a good day in anyone's book. I moved under the trees so they would block the rain found more clad and a dollar coin. The rain slowed to a light sprinkle so I ventured out in the open again working the main walkway in the grass at the end of my first pass I got the kind of signal I was looking for a strong foil with a solid 16-19 reading 3" on the D probed the wet grass and hit a solid object about 2 1/2 to 3" opened a hole in the grass and wow! This has to be one the nicest ring I have dug in a long time It is 14k with a princess cut emerald at first I thought it was onyx the stone is so dark but when the light hits it it is the most beautiful green. I know where I will be with the Deleon tomorrow after work! The DeLeon is a amazing detector THANK YOU TESORO for making such a great tool to enjoy this great hobby with.
