Went to hard hit park by my house tough soil iron and water station across street.People really don't know how much juice is flowing but you do when your metal detecting.House nearby couple wires going to it.But under ground you can not get near it with any coil i have. Electric current from station cancels out everything.went away from that got a few clad sound but didnt dig didn't want to call attention to myself so i went by this one area that i cover every time i go there,Walk around and then hi tone no way 3inches down dime 64 or 65 about a foot away penny 59 4 inches down then a quarter a few feet away not old 2 inches cant believe the dime or penny being there, had to leave start walking toward car and i know me that is going to take a while wont turn off machine so getting near car hi tone i look 18-20 a nickel or ring down 5 inches probe the area cant hit so i dig after i pinpoint there it is 1956.Not much but hard to figure why they are there.Dont know if all this unusual finds is coil or just looking harder.

Probably a little of both, a new toy always makes you play harder. Great job Fred, I really like your sunset pictures.

Super post Fred. Congrats on the coins. I believe it's a little of both also. But then when I used the 10" coil on Saturday, I went over the same spots I've been with my stock coil and other coils and I found many dig-able targets. Makes me want to go back over it again and again with the 10". Oh BTW, Larry "officially" gave me his 10" coil. Glad it's not my birthday and it's too early for Christmas gifts!!!! HH to all, Nancy

Thanks Fred for the info. I'll have to remember that! I think Larry can come up with something more than a "used" coil. :poke: HH to all, Nancy

I got back today, Glad you two did well with the coil. Rob
