Couldn't Find That $14,000.00 Rolex Watch Today, but The 1350 Got Its First Silver Coin

A while ago, I recieved a call from an insurance company asking me if I would be interested in searching for a $14,000 Rolex watch, and what I would charge. We came up wih an agreement... a percentage and travel expenses. My buddy Scott and I went last week on tuesday and again today, for most of the day. We weren't lucky, even though we gridded the hotspots of the field three times. A bunch of guys were out practicing with their rifles about a month ago on 25 acres, and somewhere, out there they suspected that the watch was lost.

We packed up our machines in his car, and headed out to this field. most of the searching took place at the far end.

At about 7 PM, we headed home. We took the backroads, hoping to find one more old place with maybe some keepers so that we could at least come home with "SOMETHING"........

Our travels took us to an old community hall. Well, I "DID IT" . My GTP 1350 found its first silver coin. It was a 1919 silver quarter, dug at about 6 inches. Scott found a ring at about 7 inches.
What a great day!

Way to go!! I have a 1350 and love it, still waiting for that first silver though... I did get 8 pennies at lunch today.

I JUST BOUGHT A 1350 I WAS HOPING I MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE,IT'S MY FIRST MD

Well.... It seems to be as responsive as the 250, the same depth as the 1250 and longer battery time as the 1500. And it has the ability to size objects with fairly good probability at reasonable depths. I am enjoying mine....I have had it for a little over a week and have already found a ring, a silver quarter and lots of clad.
