Could use an ID on these ..... thanks.

Most unusual stuff ive seen here. Whats that little hook for on the end of the cover- is it some measuring apparatus? what would the circular parts have held? Those coins/tokens have me totally lost. CO

Is that silver?? It cleaned up very good if not.
It is a Good luck token,,all the letters are there that says it,,,front and back combined.

No idea on the other object

Thanks ... Yes, it came out of the ground looking like silver, but had more of the feel of a nickel. More info on the good luck token ..

Not sure ... I gave it to the landowner. Next time I go over to detect some more I will spin it and find out .

That's a good luck token but the other piece looks like it could be two things. Some sort of picture compartment or what I think it really might be is a Victorian Makeup case with a small round area for blush or powder and an area for the mirror and the smaller rectangle area looks like it might have been a lipstick tube area. It looks curved but may have been shaped that way by being stepped on. Just some of the wall ideas. Best Regards, Woodstock

Every time I look at the second object all I see is the weight at the bottom of a swing arm for a Grandfather Clock???

HH,

WoodStock, i lean your way. That oval piece, I wonder if it held a mirror inside the cover. I noticed its hinged so perhaps you could open it and look in etc. That hook on the one edge, makes me think it was for portability. Hang it on a nail, hang in on your luggage, saddle? But with the hook you wonder if it would snag on clothing etc. That hook i think is important as to the function of the thing. Yes and the tube, does make you wonder. CO

The top one is part of a 1930's good luck spinner, the image in the middle is a diamond with an abstract M in the middle.... (Tom Mix)

osgood, I'm glad you can see where I'm coming from. Kind of a traveling make-up case met to hang where ever you placed it. I've seen Victorian cases for lot's of things. Religious items as well. What ever it is it's contents have long disappeared to father time, if the tube was checked ( assuming it's a tube ) there might be still beeswax residue in the bottom . But whatever it was used for back then, it's very cool today ! IMHO..HH. Woodstock
