Could this my first gold coin ?

Went out detecting tonight for just an hour. Found this gold looking coin encrusted in this plastic and metal case. Do anyone recognize this as a gold coin? I'm going to try and carefully remove it out on the case to see the back side.

I think that's still an interesting find. Very ornate embossing...have you been able to identify what it is ?
 
I think it was designed to look like a gold coin.But when i broke it down one half was lead the other was foil.We'll get it next time.
 
I think it was a top to a champagne bottle that melted...

I did find it in a ball field ,maybe a celebration after the championship.Only thing that sways me away from that ideal is the large lead content it was made of.
 
That looks like the Mayan Calender on one side. What sparkling wine would use such an image?
