be kept alive by First Texas? I think so! It is a solid high performing detector with very few quirks. For many the advantages outweigh the disadvanages. If it really is a low volume seller and in peril of being discontinued why not give it an upgrade instead? A few needed revisions made with Dave J's name attached could well make it very popular. The T2 has survived from the early "Cabelas" version to what it is now, so why not do the same with another very deserving detector? It would be a good move from a business standpoint as well since the tooling is already there.

such as working on the interference issue such shielding the coil cable a little better maybe, because I think that's the biggest complaint with the C$, plus the long learning curve for some or most.

Well, I call it a learning curve, but it's probably more like just getting used to the C$ and warming up to it. It took me a pretty fair time just to keep from wrapping it around a tree.
