could someone tell me what the sounds of the Sov. are

these are the excal but essentially the same as the sovereign sounds , These were posted by well known ''pro'' :please: ,,,,,, http://www.findmall.com/read.php?21,405738,405738#msg-405738

I'd love to see something similar to this for non-beach situations (coins). In particular:

- deep/iffy targets
- good targets next to iron

Also including some similar sounds on each that turned out to be junk or other non-wanted target.

those deep iffy target are solid strong tone, that doesn't break up but the volume of the hit is low(thats cause its deep).A good target next to iron is a different creature. You will have to pay close attention to your tones. It will null out then you stop then very slowly swing your coil again(about 1 or 2 inch's side to side). If theres a good coin hit you will get that high pitch tone spike. If its close to iron that spike will be for a fraction of a second so wear your good headphones and concentrate on your tones.Hope this helps.HH

I just googled for "Minelab Sovereign deep iffy" and got our own thread as the first hit!
