i lost the link when i changed computers, it was the best headstamp site i have ever seen.
i found 2 headstamps at a 1890s town site that is now just a wheat field, no trace of it is left.

WOW, that was fast. thanks homebre.
according to the chart the ones i found were made between 1896-1926.
i dont have the pictures down sized yet but will post later with a few other items from the same place including a broken piece of waterloo pottery made in england 1890.

You are welcome. I don't know what happened to the first site. I find a lot of shotgun cartridges here and put them thru my rock tumbler to clean them up.
