Well I have had enough of the snow & everything here has been covered for two months now. I took a little road trip today & headed south about 50 miles. Got to a lake & hit the few beaches that were there. It only took about 20 minutes for my first good signal at about 8" so I dug & out popped a nice 925 ring. There is another mm in the ring that is ART or ARI not sure what it means or what the stone is but I think the wife will like it. Went to the other beach which is much larger & thought I would get a few more goodies but nothing but $2.75 in clad. It was great getting out of the snow if for only a few hours.

Glad you dug some good targets. I would have drive a lot, lot ,lot farther to hunt.

Thanks for posting

Good going Bula. Nice ring and even nice amount of clad. The main thing is that you were able to get out and hunt. I'm envious. We would have to drive for a couple hours or so, if that to be able to hunt. Thanks for sharing and HH, Nancy

That is one good thing about where I live, in winter I can drive 25 miles & be at 11,000 feet elevation skiing or drive 50 miles in the other direction & play golf.
During the summer it is on average 85-90 degrees here, 100 degrees to the south & 75 degrees on the mountain.

That sounds wonderful. Oh I could get use to that. Sure isn't anything like Central Illinois. HH, Nancy

Holy &^%$$%!!!! Thats wonderful!
I'm anxious to get out also but too cold for my blood!
Theres a civil war era house I have permission to detect around
and I'd like to get to it!

Great finds you got there.

Katz

Ok. I put the right foot out you put your right foot in
and do the Hokey Pokey. Am I doing it right? Oh,
its the left foot.

Old Katz, hope you get out soon, & good luck on the civil war home site. Unfortunately I would have to drive 550 miles to get the the closest civil war site as to my knowledge there was only one west of the Mississippi, some place around Douglas AZ.

Ah! What I ment is that it was built in the civil war Era.
I don't think we ever had any civil war battles out this way, albeit
many men from Indiana get fight in the CW.

Yea....if the weather lightens up a bit I hope to get out there....before the lady
forgets she gave me permiossion. :)-)
