Cortez did they tweak it?

I got my Cortez back today and got to hunt with it a while found quite a few coins in an area that is hard to hunt. (Tall Grass) It was difinitely hitting harder on nickels and zincs which was my complaint and reason I sent it in.

My ground conditions have changed from extremely dry to good and moist.

Thing is Tesoro said it was within Specs which tells me they did nothing to it. Did they tweak it or did my ground conditions change it that much?

Moist ground often makes an improvement in signals.

We have found many good targets & at greater depths (mostly coins) in heavily hunted areas & in moist ground that our detectors wouldn't "see" when the same area(s) were bone dry.---Too many times to be just more than a coincidence.-----As Bill said, ground conditions could be the reason for it.

More than likely it's the wet ground...After a good rain the ground just comes comes to life!!!!!
