Hi all, I'm new to MDing and just bought a Tesero Cortes I was wondering if there were any Cortes owners here and if they had any preferred settings or settings and modes they found worked the best.

I like the All Metal mode, gives better coverage, easier to hear signals, goes deeper. Then I switch to Disc. mode to double check. I also switch to SUM mode for better meter / audio stability. Try hunting in the SUM mode by holding the switch, you will learn how it works, it starts in low tone then works up to a higher tone on the target. All metal mode is not good in high trash areas.
