Cortes compard to the M6

are you after the gold rewelry or silver coins ?
The M6 has this better or more than the Cotes:
-Better visual target Id resolution and accuracy.
- Full automatic ground balance and tracking.
- salt mode
- hotter on gold jewelry
- faster recovery speed
- Easier to use

But the Cortes is not bad either and will separate better in trash if you campare both detectors using the standard coil. On silver coins it may be a little hotter because of the frequency.

I do not have any experience with the Cortes, BUT I do have both the DeLeon and the M6. It is no contest, the M6 is heads above the DeLeon. It is deeper, better separation, better VDI, has the tone ID and when it comes to gold jewelry the the M6 is one of the best I have ever used. The M6 is also real good in the wet salt sand at the beach.
