Cortes& 5.75"coil questions

Any of you using the 5.75"concentric coil on the cortes experience any problems with the ID? On my machine,pennies&dimes read a quarter on the bar graff &quarters read fifty cents.With my stock coil on,they read as they should every time.I get a clear signal,&depth don't seem too far off.Just that the coins read upscale.Sure like to know if any one else is having this problem.Thanks in advance for your input. The 5.75 coil on my Cortes gives me the same results.

I am sure the detectors are tuned for the standard coil. If you want the same results you will probably have to send it in to Tesoro and have it re tuned for the smaller coil. But why they are just numbers. Adjust to the smaller coils readings. A coin is a coin. I know some people don't want to dig certain coins. I dig foil. I use the 5.75 almost all the time. What stops me in my tracks is the coin sound. Like swinging it and it does fine job on finding stuff.... Z
