corrosion protection

i have been using my coinstrike on a saltwater beach for the past three years. the exposed metal ( cord connector & rec. ) are corroding . does anyone have some suggestions for prevention ? i am considering coating it with something but would appreciate some learned advice ! thank you . keith

a popular one is Boeshield T9. Leaves a bit of a waxy film, but the problem you have is that the corrosion process has started and you need to find a way of cleaning/neutralizing it.
