Correct me if I'm wrong but.......

Old Katz

I pulled this mangled gold chain out of a base ball diamond. It read in
the 2,6,8,10 foil area. Correct me if I'm wrong but this looks like some cheap
thing you might get at Wal-Mart. Most of the gold items I've pulled from
this range always appear as low quality stuff. Constructive comments greatly
appreciatived.

Hey, Katz,
ya know, if it were me , id do a little scratch test, on it ,in a discreet location, and maybe on the soldered area too.
I would think , that if it was a cheapy walmart, somewhere between the chain , the solder and the end caps,
it would show a different tarnish, so to speak. from my view here, in a pic, the 3 components look the same ,
color , and tarnish wise..
IDK, Hard to say,,,Wouldnt that be neat if it were real?
Good luck there, Katz

Hhahahahaha.
You read my mind.
It IS cheap old Wal-Mart quality. I took it in and had someone look at it
and they told me it was just a cheap gold overlay. Close inspection shows where it is tarnished.
But it was nice to just feel that I wa getting close to the real thing.

I'll bet when you first saw it, it got your old ticker to jumpin.
