Cordless Headphones???

snide

Member
Are cordless headphones even a possibility for the AT PRO??? What's out there that anyone has tested, I would think bluetooth would be to slow and something may get missed, but with all of today technology why is there still a dern wire from our machines to our ears, I'd assume it's to keep cost down during manufacturing.

If anyone has tried anything that works, (assuming it would have to be aftermarket) please let me know...THANKS

I have used the Radio Shack 33-1253's for maybe 3 years. They work great with no lag. I went through a lot of others that didn't work. But now RS has discontinued these phones. Once you get the ATpro pigtail you'll be able to try some wireless units. Stay away from anything Bluetooth. Go for 2.4 GHZ units. I will try the new RS Auvio 2.4's soon. I think they will work.

I've used Free Pulse Wireless by Logiteck no lag time on this setup.

on my Xterras and they worked great. Last time I was at Radio Shack (last month) they told me those had been discontined but they still had two pairs on sale for $9.99, needless to say, I bought both of them. Only thing is, they will not work on my Technetic G2, maybe it's because of the 19khz frequency. I had already sold my Xterra so don't know if these new ones will work on that machine but pretty sure they will. Guess I'll just use them with my stereo system. HH

The problem with cordless headphones on the atpro is that the connector is not standard. You would have to buy an adapter that Garrett makes and then you can try the wireless phones.
