... seems Cooter had always wanted to be a Pirate. He responded to an ad in the paper for tryouts to become a pirate and off he went leaving his wife and daughters at home.

Seems he should have read the fine print in the ad cause to be this kind of pirate you never get to fire canons, slice up the officers and crew of sailing ships, and you have to move to Pittsburgh.
